OUR FOUNDATION
At Dance HQ, we believe great training is about balance. Our classes combine strong technical foundations with creativity, confidence-building, and fun, allowing every student to grow at their own pace while developing discipline, performance skills, and a genuine love of movement.
Meet the Founder
Kerene began her dance journey at the age of 2. At 16, she earned a full scholarship to ED-5 International, graduating dux of her class.
Since then, Kerene has built a remarkable career as a dancer and choreographer, performing and touring with RAW Dance Company, the Star Casino Show Solaria, and as a backup dancer for artists including Guy Sebastian, Sophie Monk, Nathaniel, and Ronda Birchmore.
She is now thrilled to bring her expertise, passion, and fresh ideas to Dance HQ GC, inspiring the next generation of performers.
Our Story
Dance Headquarters is a proud, family-run dance studio built on generations of passion for the performing arts. With a rich history and a legacy of nurturing exceptional talent, Dance HQ has supported and inspired performers who have gone on to national and international success, including Sophie Monk, Ricki-Lee Coulter, Amy Shark, and Ashley Wallen.
More than just a dance studio, Dance Headquarters is a community. We are proud to offer a welcoming, supportive environment where every dancer feels encouraged, valued, and part of the Dance HQ family.

At Dance HQ, the safety and wellbeing of children is at the centre of everything we do. We believe every child has the right to feel safe, supported, and respected in an environment free from harm, neglect, or exploitation.
We are committed to creating a positive and empowering space where children feel valued and confident to express themselves. With a zero-tolerance approach to any form of harm, all concerns are taken seriously and addressed promptly, professionally, and ethically.
Our policies and practices reflect our commitment to child safety, inclusion, and wellbeing. We actively support children from all backgrounds and work to ensure our studio remains a safe, welcoming place for every family.
